Happy Wednesday!!

Hi!!

I'm so excited for this weekend. My girls are making their First Communion! It is such a big day for our family. I think my girls are more excited about wearing the dress and having their hair done. LOL! We invited some family to dinner afterwards. We are going to my Mom's favorite Italian place. Yes, I know, it's very risky taking my girls in their WHITE dresses to an Italian restaurant. LOL!! It will be interesting! They will have napkins all over their dresses just in case. :-)

Since today is Wednesday, that means it's time for The Diedrich Dare. This week Madelynn told us to make a card in Spring colors. How easy is that?? I used the sketch from FFF at The Greeting Farm for my card. I used the paper from Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients kit.

This week Nicky gave us a fun color combo to use. When I looked at this combo I thought the color was yellow. Now that I am posting it I can see it's orange. LOL!!!! I got the other colors right. I used Jessica's stamp set to make my card. :-)

Hi!!!

First I want to apologize for not commenting on blogs in the last 2 weeks. I've been so bad about that. I try so hard to make it around the blogs. My life is keeping me very busy these days. LOL!!! My goal is to make my rounds tomorrow. I am watching my friend's girls in the afternoon. That will keep my girls occupied so I will have some time. :-)

Today is Whimsical Wednesday. Jack gave us a fun sketch to use. It looks like it has lots of layers. This month our sponsor is The Greeting Farm. I used the Angel Anya for my card. I am giving it to a friend to let her know we are praying for her.

I'm Finally Ready!

I am SO LATE getting this posted. Last week I had a wonderful time visiting Jessica and her family. We had such a nice time together. I can't wait until we can visit again. This week I have been busy helping out a friend by watching her kids. My girls have been having so much fun playing with them. Her kids are so good that I forget that they are here. LOL!! I've even had them sleep over on a school night and they still went to bed on time. Such good kids!!

This week for the Diedrich Dare 10 year old Madelynn gave us an inspiration sketch to follow.

Yes, I know Easter is over. LOL! My Aunt bought my girls Easter outfits for their Build-A-Bears. I wanted to use Easter Anya for her thank you card.

You're My Peep

Hi!!!

I have this post sent for auto post because I am in TN with The Diedrich Family!!! Wooo hooo!!! I am so excited about this trip. It feels like it's been forever since we got together. When our kids were younger, we saw each other at least once a week. As they got older and involved in after school activities, we were happy with once a month. Now we will have four fun days together.

It's time for The Diedrich Dare! This week Jack gave us a fun sketch to use. This post is even more special because it is Jack and his twin brother Nicky's 8th birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I used my Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients for the paper and Clear Dollar Stamps for the image.

I'm Back!!!

I can't believe it's been two weeks since I've posted. I've had the worst two weeks ever. But they are over and it's time to get myself together. I am really looking forward to this weekend. I am going to visit Jessica and her family for about 4 days. I can't wait to see where they live. I am really excited to see her kids too. I feel like it's been forever since we've seen each other!!

I am back to posting for the Diedrich Dare. This week I used an image from The Character Cafe. I don't have a lot of boy stamps so I was happy to use this one. Isn't he cute!?!?! I used black Shimmerz to color the skate board. The sentiment is from Jessica's Whimsical Wishes set at The Greeting Farm.

It's Wednesday!!!!

Happy Wednesday!

I am going to try to keep this post short. My sinuses have been bothering me for weeks now. It doesn't seem to be getting any better. I am having trouble breathing. My ears feel like they are about to explode because of the pressure. Now I have this terrible ringing in my ears. I can't blame it on the weather. Here in Chicago, we have had such a mild winter. Sorry, I'm having a pity party today.
